Eva Keiser, APR
Senior Vice President
An accredited public relations counselor, Eva Keiser’s talent lies in working with emerging and mid-size B-to-B and B-to-C companies, using communications strategies as both a marketing and management function to deliver results that matter.
With an inquisitive spirit, which was nurtured as a journalist earlier in her career, Eva has the uncommon ability to uncover stories that resonate with the media, and move readers to action.
Since joining Risdall McKinney in 2006, she has been instrumental in the agency’s growth—in revenues, employees and clients, and in developing the agency’s reputation within the industry and Twin Cities business community. In addition to providing counsel and services to a diverse mix of clients, including Premier Mounts, ATEK Companies, Archway Marketing Services and the Minnesota Children’s Museum, Eva helps guide the careers of the junior team members. A member of the agency’s leadership team, she is actively involved in new business development; agency management and marketing; as well as staff retention/recruitment and professional development.
Prior to joining Risdall McKinney, Eva spent more than a decade at Padilla Speer Beardsley where she held positions of increasing responsibility, and managed a wide spectrum of clients. Earlier in her career, Eva gained a wealth of tactical and strategic communications experience working on state and local political campaigns, with grassroots organizations and at print and broadcast media outlets.
Recognized in the industry for her work, Eva has won numerous national and local awards including Bronze Anvils from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) and ProComm awards from the Business Marketing Association (BMA). She regularly serves as a senior judge for the national PRSA Silver and Bronze Anvil competitions.
Active in the Minnesota communications community, Eva has chaired several Minnesota PRSA committees, served as editor for the chapter’s newsletter for five years and recently developed the chapter’s member mentorship program. Currently she chairs the Minnesota PRSA Membership committee. In addition to PRSA, Eva is also involved in IABC and BMA.
Eva holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the Southern Illinois University and a master’s degree in mass communication from the University of North Dakota. She resides in Northeast Minneapolis with her husband and two sons.
